Ruby

1-Year-old Cane Corso  (85 lbs)

Good with other dogs with proper intro,  good with cats,  and good with older kids ( dog savvy ) .

Ruby is sweet, shy, curious, smart, and full of energy.

She is gentle with the cats in her foster home. Ruby can get very excited and will bark at new people when they are coming into her space. Getting her to sit and greeting newcomers will tell her they are safe and she will happily greet them.

In the house, she just wants to be around her people and make sure they are safe. She tends to growl at loud noises and some people walking by when she is watching out the window. At night she will do a patrol of the house if she hears a loud bag or noise, but will come back when called and just really wants to cuddle.

She is still nervous about her kennel, but she gets better every day!

She still gets overwhelmed by new places and people, communication and tasty treats get her back on track.

When she is focused and calm walks are a breeze. She loves to run and play with her ball or big sticks.

A fenced yard and space to play is a must.

Ruby will thrive in a home with patient people, consistent training, and a lot of love!
